DMCA Policy

Overview

Vuju AI respects intellectual property rights and expects users to do the same. This policy describes how we respond to notices of copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512.

Vuju AI is a generative AI platform. Users generate content through interaction with AI models. We do not host or distribute user-uploaded files, images, or documents in a public forum. Copyright claims regarding AI-generated outputs present complex legal questions; however, we take all DMCA notices seriously and will investigate promptly.

Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you believe that content accessible through Vuju AI infringes your copyright, you may send a written notice to our designated DMCA agent containing all of the following elements, as required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3):

Required elements

  1. Physical or electronic signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or, if multiple works are covered by a single notification, a representative list)
  3. Identification of the infringing material and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate it (e.g., URL, screenshot)
  4. Contact information — your address, telephone number, and email address
  5. Good faith statement — a statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  6. Accuracy statement — a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of the owner

Warning: Submitting a knowingly false DMCA notice may expose you to liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), including damages and attorneys' fees.

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will notify the original complainant. If the complainant does not file suit within 10 business days, we may restore the material.

Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with the DMCA, we maintain a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are deemed repeat infringers. We reserve the right to terminate any user's account at our sole discretion based on copyright infringement activity.

Note on AI-Generated Content

Vuju AI is a generative AI platform. Because AI models generate content based on statistical patterns, outputs may resemble existing copyrighted material. We take copyright concerns seriously and will investigate valid DMCA notices. We do not guarantee that all AI outputs are non-infringing. Users are responsible for reviewing outputs intended for commercial or public use.
